The 1999 Harley-Davidson FXR3 is a limited-production factory custom motorcycle and a foundational piece of Harley's early Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) history.

Overview & Significance
  • The FXR Revival: Harley-Davidson originally produced the legendary, great-handling FXR chassis from 1982 to 1994 before replacing it with the Dyna platform. In 1999, using spare assembly line capacity in York, Pennsylvania, Harley resurrected the frame to build a strict, limited run of factory customs (the FXR2 and FXR3).
  • Rarity: Only 900 units of the FXR3 were manufactured worldwide.
  • Design & Customization: The bike came loaded with over 23 factory chrome accents and distinctive flame paint schemes, available in Blue Flame and Deep Emerald Green Flame.
